Events Planning & Logistics

2011-2013:

  • Teamed with representatives from: the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, Indiana Office of the Attorney General, Indiana Governor’s Office of Faith-Based & Community Initiatives, Indiana CTSI Community Health Engagement Program, Indiana Grantmakers Alliance, and United Way of Indiana Nonprofit Training Center
  • Managed registration for 300+ attendees, sponsors, and speakers
  • Coordinated logistics with conference site
  • Recruited, trained, and managed volunteer team
  • Collaborated with workshop presenters to prepare and collect material for conference
  • Served as primary contact for all website and newsletter inquiries
  • Designed, entered, and collated post-conference survey data

Writing & Digital Media

2015:

  • Write and publish 3 Facebook posts weekly and 3 Tweets daily

2011-2013:

  • Wrote and published weekly e-newsletters, social media posts, and blogs
  • Coordinated and wrote content for conference program book

SAVI is a free resource that helps people make data-informed decisions. It provides data about Central Indiana communities, tools to analyze and visualize the data, and training to build to use it effectively. SAVI includes up-to-date statistics on housing, religion, crime, education, income, and more. It’s an important resource for community organizations, non-profits, and needs-based services.

SAVI is part of The Polis Center,  a center in the IU School of Liberal Arts at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
